About Me

Beatriz Schlogl Barini is a Brazilian 3D animator whose journey has led her through three countries and a growing interest in the natural world. Born in São Paulo in 2004, she moved to Mexico City at 14, where she was surrounded by a new culture that affected her worldview. Now living in Chicago, she is pursuing a BFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where her interest in environmental issues—specifically the precarious relationship between birds and human activity—has taken wing.

Since 2022, she has also been a regular volunteer at the Chicago Bird Collision Monitors (CBCM), where she saves and documents birds hurt by the city's urban environment. This experiential learning drives her artistic research, where she integrates research, storytelling, and digital art. Through 3D animation, world design, and modeling, she creates immersive narratives based not only on her own encounters with nature but also on others'. With her works, Beatriz challenges viewers to recreate their encounter with nature, a world at a time.
